Type J Steel Spring Nuts
Type J Steel Spring Nuts Are Self-Locking Fasteners That Can Be Used To Replace Threaded Nuts In A Variety Of Industrial Applications.
Type J Steel Spring Nuts are made of black phosphate spring steel for improved chemical resistance and long lasting durability. Used in place of nuts to thread bolts together and to help fasten material substrates. Easily press into self-retaining positions in center-panel locations or over panel edges through the rectangular hole. Prevents screws from coming loose due to vibration and locks against mating surface for greater stability and durability. Recommended for hard-to-reach or blind installations where threaded nut tightening would not be ideal. Does not include full bearing surface on lower leg. Black Phosphate Finish provides added protection and resistance. Comes in package quantities of 1,000, 2,000 and 3,000. Dimensions vary per model.
