Silica Gel (SiO2 * H2O) will adsorb about 40% of its weight in water vapor at 100% humidity. Silica Gel is better suited than clay for temperatures above 120°F (49°C) as clay may give up moisture rather than pull it in. Silica Gel is a high efficiency and high capacity desiccant.
