Tailgate spreaders attach to the back of your pickup truck to provide a cost effective solution for maintaining large commercial grounds.
These salt spreaders are made for years of use with a rugged and attractive black thermoplastic hopper and orange powder coat finished steel mounting frame that resists corrosion. Tailgate salt spreaders include a heavy-duty 12V motor housed in a sealed motor chamber for extra protection from salt and elements. Material flow and spread width is adjustable from 3' to 30' using an in-cab electronic variable speed control panel. The ultra-smooth 45 degree hopper interior and auger prevent material bridging by channeling it into the stainless steel hopper throat and spinner providing an even flow of material. These winter salt spreaders accommodate use of #1 rock salt or similar material. Mount directly to your pickup truck step bumper; power cables and hardware included. Assembles easily. Non-Returnable.
Order the optional 2" hitch receiver mount package that allows the use of your existing Class III or IV hitch.
Durable, corrosion resistant salt storage box, scoop and shovel are great accessories with these salt spreaders.
