Virtually Maintenance Free Doors Are Ideal For Food Processing Facilities, Pharmaceutical Manufacturing And Chemical Plants.
These doors are designed for use in heavy duty interior applications that require corrosion resistance and durability. Doors are impervious to acids, petroleum products, animal fats and cleaning solvents. The door panel is constructed with a 1/8" thick outer skin of cross-linked polyethylene with an ultra high-density, non-CFC foamed-in-placed core that will retain an attractive appearance in the most difficult applications. Door has excellent insulation qualities with "R" 12 value properties from -40° to 150° F. The 1-¾" thick panels sanitary surface never needs painting and cleans easily with soap and water. Each door comes standard with a FRP fiberglass frame, heavy duty 4-½" x 4-½" stainless steel hinges with ball bearings and removable pins, and a door knob passage set. Choice of Left or Right handing (see diagram).
Options for the Corrosion Resistant Personnel Doors: Window - 24" x 24" double-pane clear Lexan window is set in a two-piece injected molded, low profile PVC frame.
Adjustable Door Closer - Cast iron cylinder and forged steel piston. Powder coated for corrosion resistance and includes a PVC cover. Note: Only rated for this series of doors; Not for use with other doors.
Keyed Lockset - Non-ferrous cold rolled steel cylindrical lock with lever style handle and satin chrome finish. Note: Not sold separately; must order with Door.
