Construction-grade design is both portable and durable. Thick die-cast aluminum body with h igh-strength, heat-treated main pinion shaft and load gear. Weston-style load brake incorporates two moisture-resistant brake pads with four braking surfaces for positive braking action. Pre-lubricated ball bearings and precision machined drive train components ensure smooth lifting. Grade 100 heat-treated manganese alloy load chain resists abrasion and wear while minimizing chain weight. Forged and heat-treated alloy steel hooks open slowly and will not fracture under excessive loads.
