High-Lift Skid Trucks are made of steel for long lasting durability. Load raises to comfortable height to reduce stress on back. Manual design provides stabilizer system and braking mechanism allowing load transport in a raised position without having to lower the load. Some models have See-through bulkhead has to maximize visibility when load is in raised position, and hand-operated lock to increase operator safety. Phenolic casters and polyurethane steer wheels increase mobility and ease of steering. Nine different foot-operated, hand-operated or battery-powered models available. Fork dimensions and lift heights vary. Time to maximum height varies per model from 6-15 seconds, to 49, 60 or 75 strokes. Weight capacity varies from 2,200 lbs. to 3,300 lbs. Trucks have 4 mm-thick reinforced steel plates to provide additional strength. Forks can be raised from 3-1/2 inches to 31-1/2 inches. Support legs automatically extend when load is raised to 16-1/2 inches to stabilize vehicle. Some models are equipped with spring-loaded loop handle with three-position hand control. Truck dimensions range from 20-1/2 to 27 inches wide and 44-1/2 to 47 inches long.
