RS232 data port is not well documented, but works at 2400 baud: pin 3 is data out and pin 5 is ground. |

| The scale is a wounderful product. The
ONLY thing that needs to be improved
on the scale is the CORD. The CORD is
too Heavy & too Strong!!!. You need
to replace the cord with a Softer
material. When you pull the cord out
to get away from the scale, the Strength
of the Cord, Pulls the scale out from under the boxes on the scale. |

| i received this scale that i ordered and it was broken. i e mailed customer service about it asking for an RFM so i could send it back and they promptly told me not to worry about it and that they would send me a replacement, which they did....super quickly. in my business, we are very busy and anything that saves me any time at all is a Godsend and this absolutely saved me lots of time. i truly appreciate how they handled this issue. thanks so much, Sheila |

| this scale, though it has the connection hardware, does not connect to a pc to automatically populate your shipping software with the weight. After multiple contact's with Global Industrial for scale drivers and they sent us a PDF of the owners manual. This scale is not what it appears. |

| We've had this scale for about two months and it has worked great. It comes with a mounting bracket for the read out, and is built very solid. We do 10-20 shipments a week and so far no problems. |

| Well made, with conveniently large display and adequate lengths of cords. Would have given it 5 stars if it had gradations by smaller fractions (e.g ounces) instead of one half pounds. But well worth buying for medical offices. |

| the scale works great, only complaint i have is someone should have given a little more thought into the cord. the power adapter should have plugged into the read out display. the power cord and the scale cords are constanly getting tangled up and conflict from the cords not being at least molded together. |

| I have purchased a lot of this items over the years, I love it and so do my clients the only thing is that it shoudl read in ounces not junp to the half pound.
Great Item, durable and very practical the battery option.

| While this scale fulfills our needs very well, there are 2 drawbacks. I would prefer the readout to read tenths of a pound instead of half-pound increments. Also the lcd display is not backlit and does not show up very well in the darker conditions of our warehouse. But despite those 2 drawbacks, it performs admirably. |

| Would have given the product 5 stars, but the electric cord is cheap and way too thin. First time I used it, the cord was accidentley cut in two. We taped it together and it works fine, but I think this product needs to come with a little heavier duty cord |

| The scale I ordered is a good piece of equipment. Accurate to .1 lbs/kg which is perfect for the weights needed for FedEx, UPS, DHL shipping today as you always round-up to the next pound. It has a PC hook-up but it is RS-232. Would be nice to have a USB port.
I like the continuis on feature. It is a great bargan. |

| I like this scale but it needs to be more accurate! The resolution is 1/2lb but there is no reason that is cant be 1/10lb. Other than that it has worked well for us, we have ordered about 20 an use them for various things. |
