Pre-Drilled Class L 60 Plus® Chromed Linear Shafting Exceeds Industry Standards For Straightness, Diameter Accuracy, Depth Of Case And Uniform Hardness.
Pre-Drilled Class L 60 Plus® Chromed Linear Shafting is produced on proprietary machines to ensure long-lasting durability. 60 Plus® Shafting is made from C1060 carbon steel and provides a high level of abrasion resistance in many applications. Linear Shafting is rated at a Rockwell Hardness of 60/65 C. Chrome plating improves appearance and allow greater corrosion resistance. Chromed linear shafting may replace stainless steel shafting in some applications. Pre-drilled shafts are made with an industry-standard hole pattern for ease of use. Holes are drilled and tapped to the center of the shaft. Shaft can be butt or dowel joined to provide longer length. It is advisable to use open, adjustable pillow blocks and linear ball bearings with 60 Plus® Linear Shafting. Shafts are up to 2 inches in diameter. Shafts are cut to the length desired with varying lengths available according to model. |
