Stainless steel 440C Shafting uses proprietary processes with the newest technology in heat treating for superior strength. 440C Stainless Steel is corrosion resistant with a Rockwell hardness of 50/55 "C." These shafts are pre-drilled with a standard industrial hole pattern to meet most applications. Holes are drilled and tapped to the center of the shaft.
