Timing Belts Provide An Economical Solution For Power Transmission In Motors.
Timing belts are made to utilize positive engagement of the toothed belt with another set of matching teeth on the pulley. The positive nature ensures high efficiencies and heavy-load capabilities with large accelerations at high speeds (speed ratio to 20:1). Required belt tension is low, ensuring small bearing loads and improved life. Absence of metal-on-metal contact eliminates the need for lubricating systems. Belts are Urethane with Polyester reinforcements and measure 3/8" wide. Available with 33 Teeth up to 515 Teeth. Timing belts are available in a variety of lengths of up to 41-1/5".
