Leeson 3-Phase, Drip-Proof, C Face Mount are constructed with a cast iron frame for long lasting durability. NEMA C face mount designed with machined face and pilot on shaft end allows direct mounting with pump or other direct coupled equipment. Bolts pass through mounted part to threaded hole in motor face. Drip proof (DP)enclosure with vents in end shield and/or frame prevents drops of liquid from falling into motor within 15 degree angle from vertical. Designed for use in areas that are reasonably dry, clean, and well ventilated (usually indoors). If installed outdoors, it is recommended that motor be protected with cover that does not restrict flow of air to motor. UL Listed and CSA compliant. Extra quantities are available.
