Merit Type 316 Stainless Steel Barstocks are made of solid non-corrosive Type 316 Stainless Steel for long lasting strength, durability and dependability. Class 1000 fittings are utilized in high pressure situations in conjunction with schedule 40 and schedule 80 pipe or pipe nipples where porosity must be avoided. Also used in critical applications where possibility of leakage or failure must be eliminated. Offers excellent life span due to being a forged product (no porosity). Various types include Caps, Couplings, Half Couplings, Hex Bushings, Hex Head Bushing, Hex Countersink Plug, Reducing Couplings, Square Head Plugs and Unions. Available in a wide selection of 1/8 to 4 inch diameters and 1/8 to 1-1/2 inch lengths.
