Scroll saw review
Your review: Seems to be a decent saw for the price. Appears to be the same saw we looked at at Lowes wearing a Skil brand name, a different paint job, and some other detail differences for $10.00 more.
Pros: Solid, well built, smooth running, feature rich. All the cons listed below are probably why the price is comparatively low.
Cons: Skil Branded version has a lever to release blade tension where this one has a knob. Switch location with safety shield is awkward (probably a government mandate). A separate light switch to allow the light to be on when the motor is not running would be nice. Table tilt mechanism is flimsy but has not yet been a problem. Changing plain ended blades needs 3 hands. Hole in throat plate is enormous. Shouldn't cost anything to make it smaller.
