Heavy-Duty Mortiser features cast iron construction and a powerful 1-1/2HP motor for the most demanding jobs. Heavy rack and pinion gear system uses a spring loaded adjustable position handle and pneumatic shock for smooth head travel. A large 14-5/8" x 7-1/8" table offers plenty of work support and adjusts to any angle from 0 to 90°. Mortiser features an adjustable lower work support for large, heavy work pieces. Gibs are adjustable for fine-tuning head movement.
Benchtop Mortiser features an in-line depth stop that allows stopping at preset depths without racking the mortiser bit to the base. Heavy-duty reversible handle can be installed from one side to the other without tools. The stock hold down features a specially designed double lock system to eliminate slippage. This hold-down is also reversible to allow stock from 0 to 5" thick to be captured underneath it. Benchtop mortiser has a quick-action cam lock that quickly locks the fence into position. Mortiser features an integrated bit and chisel spacer system. Large work surfaces on table and fence allow stable and accurate cuts.
Tilt Table Mortiser features heavy-duty cast iron construction with precision-machined column and table. The head is mounted using adjustable gibs to assure years of trouble-free service. The heavy rack and pinion gear system utilizes a spring-loaded 6-position adjustable handle for movement. A handy depth stop gives a uniform depth of mortise. A large 20-1/4" x 7" table gives plenty of work support and will adjust to any angle between 0 and 35°. The table also moves left to right and forward and back on dovetail ways with large handwheel controls. Adjustable linear stops and flip down stop allow for precision repeatability. The quick adjust clamp provides plenty of work-holding force and will swivel to accommodate angled work pieces.
