Powermatic Shapers are constructed with a heavy cast iron table for strength and long lasting durability. Two model types available to meet job requirements and specifications. PM2700 shapers provide extra large 30 in. x 40 in. precision ground cast iron table with heavy duty miter gauge and aluminum extruded support. Built-in, omni-directional caster system retracts into base. Quick-release lever allows fast speed and belt changes. Fence with several T-slots accepts wood face and creates no-clearance surface around any shaper or router bit. Digital readout allows making adjustments to within .001 inch in spindle height. 25A Shapers provides spindle housing directly mounted to bottom of extra large, heavy cast iron table. Miter gauge allows for work piece support. TEFC motor includes two-speed reversible spindle for diverse shaping jobs. Safe, easy cutter set-up is assisted by a positive detent spindle lock. Motor voltages are 230V and 230/460V. Motor horsepower's are 3, 5 and 7-1/2.
