pond motor timer

Your review: I have tried electric timers that didn't function for more than a couple weeks. This mechanical timer has been accurate and reliable.

we cant see what the plug in site looks like with this 1 picture. Can you please explain it? Is the bottom able to take plugs that are grounded and also that are flat with the cord coming out of the side instead of straight behind the plug?
