This is a classic Library Chair design, and made to last. All solid oak, this chair features steam bent back slats for contour and comfort. A seat that is a full 1" thick, and roomy at 16-1/2" deep x 18-1/2" wide. We use mortise and tenon construction at every joint to insure sturdiness. Also a rack is provided underneath for storage of books or other belongings. All edges are eased for a smooth and streamline appearance. Glides are available upon request. Made entirely in the USA.
