Your review: I almost bought cable that was not preassembled and then you need to buy a kit to do it your self and costs more

Pros: Preassembled Heating Cable is the way to go

Cons: would have liked more wattage hope 5 watts is ok will not know till after this winter 2015?

can this be used to keep a water line from freezing? Can it be in contact with a plastic well line? Also I assume then that it can be buried in the ground? What is the life of this product? thanks
