Great air movement.
The most critical review
Air Flow is fair fan blades seem small.
great fan for the price
Your review: Just received the fan this morning. Assembly took me all of ten minutes. It is in service, and is moving more air than the fans I already had, that I payed a lot more for. For less than $200, I think this fan is an excellent value. The only test left is the life of it. I recommend this fan with no reservations.
Pros: Quick assembly, moves a lot of air, not too noisy, very economical.
Cons: Assembly required may be an issue for some that are not handy.
A truly high volume fan
Your review: Relatively easy assembly, I am pleased having selected the 30" size and 1/2 hp motor. We use it in our back patio and found that mosquitoes are swept away by the air. Noisy?, yes, a bit noisy but it allows us to dwell in an area that was off limits before
Pros: High volume of air
Cons: none yet
Very Good Fan
Your review: We bought 2 of these fans for our shop, and they move a lot of air compared to the other old ones we have. Nice and sturdy; I think they will hold up well to the wear and tear of being handled by mechanics daily. Not really quiet so I wouldn't recommend them for say an office or somewhere you'll be on the phone. We run them all day long, and the motor does get really warm, not to the point of concern but I would say be careful handling it if it's been on for an hour or more. Also, the oscillating mechanism is very old school, where you have to unscrew the linkage and move it to change between oscillate and solid. Not as easy as a button press, but it's a lot more heavy duty. We plan on buying some more in the future
Pros: -Heavy Duty -Sturdy & well built -Moves a lot of air
Cons: -Not very quiet -Gets a bit hot -Heavy
Blown away as expected
Your review: This fan can really move air! Solves the air circulation issues in our large church basement. The guy who strips and waxes our tile floor is going to love it. Our large group meetings downstairs appreciate the way it takes away the 'stale air' feeling.
Pros: Everything as promised. Went together fine. Powerful and effective.
Cons: Tilt bolt required us to velcro a box wrench to the base for someone to be able to adjust it. A little unwieldy to move just because its top heavy, yet no problem for an able-bodied person. Not a huge difference in the 3 speeds and it is, not unexpectedly, noisy (i.e., not 'whisper-quiet')
Moves Some Serious Air!
Your review: We purchased this fan, originally, to use at our boat slip but it was a little large. We ended up putting it in our covered outdoor seating/kitchen area. Though it's a little loud, that's a small price to pay for getting relief from the Texas heat. Well-built, sturdy & moves a lot of air.
Best bang for the buck!
Your review: 10,000 CFM! Oscillating, for less than $200 dollars each. I couldn't find a better deal anywhere. Very easy to assemble. We have purchased 16 of these for our factory.
Pros: Cost, Airflow.
Cons: Need to use a Phillips to change it from Oscillating to Fixed. Fan blade is where they decided to save the money on (very thin, but does the job)
Your review: It does what its supposed to-blows plenty of air and not to loud. Haven't had it long enough to comment on longevity.
Pros: Works as advertised just enough air movement
Cons: For the CFM rating I thought there would be more air.It does move alot of air, I just thought there would be more.
The best fans on the market... PERIOD!
Your review: We were looking for some oscillating shop fans to keep the employees cool. After looking at about 10 other sites, Global had not only the best price, but also the most CFM output. These fans are amazing!
Pros: Hi volume output. Very sturdy with very long cords and at a great price.
Can pedestal fan be purchased in quantity (18 or more) without the pedestal? Can the pedestal price be deducted?

We purchased the wall mount 24" fan recently (item 607050). I was wondering is there a pedestal mount that the fan would also fit on in case I want to temporarily remove it from the wall mount and move it elsewhere. It looks like it would fit a pedestal mount very easily but I'm not sure. Thanks for the help. Jimmy Don Havins

Can you give me the specs on the bolt pattern to fasten the gage to the motor? I need a certain size.

Is this rated for outdoor use? I am looking for a pedestal fan for a screened in porch on the beach. Thanks.
