The 5" vent cap is used in a separated combustion unit, without the use of a concentric vent kit. On models of 300,000 BTU or higher, separate pipes for vent and air intake termination run to the wall or roof. The 5" vent cap is used as the cap for the vent for combustion air. For use with all Separated Combustion Axial Fan Heaters and Duct Heaters. ONLY WORKS WITH ROBERTS-GORDON LLC PRODUCTS.
