Decent small workshop heater
Your review: As I assembled it, I began to realize how well built it really is. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an alternative to the standard 1500w fare.
Pros: Well built. Thermostatically controlled. Heavy cord and connector. Locking plug is actually a plus; see cons.
Cons: Molded power cord/plug requires a NEMA L6-20R locking receptacle. Sixteen dollars at the big box stores. (I don't like "adapters" in the 240v range.)
Does the job!
Your review: Nice little portable heater, heats up quickly.
Pros: Heats rapidly, compact size, fan forced, fan only setting, built in thermostat, attached cord with twist lock plug.
Cons: 208/240 volts, not really a con, to get 3 KW of heat from any heater it would have to be a higher voltage.
We unpacked the heater and plugged it in - doesn't seem to be putting out much heat and only a portion of the coils are turning red. Do we need to leave it plugged in for an extended time the first time we use it or are we missing something?

The heater comes with an internal overheat thermostat. In case of overheating the heater will shut off. Can you please share your concern so that we can get a precise answer from the manufacturer?
