Century GF2014 electric motor

Your review: I purchased this motor to run my 4 inch diameter pneumatic drum sander, which required a 1/2 inch diameter shaft. The motor works very well with the sander, and was easy to attach to the wooden base for the motor. The motor runs smoothly and quietly. I'm fully satisfied with my purchase and the cost.

Pros: I was easily able to reverse the direction of the rotation, which I needed to do to prevent the drum sander from becoming loose from the shaft.

Cons: It was a bit of a challenge to attach my electric cord to the motor terminals because the terminals are so deep inside the frame of the motor. I would have liked the terminals to have about three inches of lead wire to make an easier connection to the external cord.
