general purpose electric motor

Your review: Fairly good light duty motor, however, the motor came with a bent mount. Must have been dropped or hit pretty hard to bend the bracket like that. Motor seems to be fine.

Pros: Good economical motor.

Cons: No thermal reset

Works well

Your review: We do NOT use this motor for any of its intended uses. We us them for running flap wheels, they see lots of run time and have been performing very well.

Replacement Electric Motor

Your review: The motor was a replacement that I used for an attic fan. It works very well and is extremely quiet. I was looking for a 2 speed motor for Hi / Lo operation and I was not sure if that was what I was ordering. I had some issues with Customer Service trying to determine if the motor I ordered was 2 - speed or not. Worked out very good, I installed a variable speed control rated for 10 amp load and worked perfectly! The price of the motor was so reasonable that, the speed control price I had to pay was still less than most others I found.
