under sink 5.5KW tankless water heater
Your review: I had no idea what to expect, have never used or installed such an item. There were no issues with installation. The instructions were vague, what was printed on paper was somewhat different from the company's web site. I used stainless steel braid for all connections rather than copper tubing, just because it was easier.
If you don't have the hot faucet opened enough, the unit will not turn on. If you turn it on just enough to get hot water, it is very hot, opening the valve up more, the water tends to cool, so by regulating the hot water flow, you don't really need cold water to mix to get the desired temperature. With the hot water sided opened up all the way, the water is barely warm, so, this is clearly for a small sink, for washing hands. It will meet my needs in my shop.

240V typically refers to a residential single phase system that gives 120/240V power. However, many office buildings have the same single phase power. Those that don't usually have three phase power that provides the equivalent 115/230V power. Most 240V rated equipment these days is designed to operate on the 230V system also. However, if the power supply is a 120/208V system you must get a 208V specific unit
