The CSC-550 is a high performance digital scaler for composite, S-Video and component (480i) video signals. It will scale a video input signal to a selectable computer graphics video or HDTV output signal on an HD-15 connector. The CSC-550 has multiple computer graphic output resolutions of 640x480, 800x600, 1024x768 and 1280x1024. It also has HDTV output resolutions of 480p, 576p, 720p, and 1080i in component format on the HD-15 output connector. Unit has Multi-Standard video signal compatibility of NTSC & PAL-B/G/I/D.
Unit has a built-in proc-amp for color, hue (NTSC only), sharpness, contrast, and brightness. Unit has a 3-D comb filter, and 3:2 pull down video processing with auto detection. Unit has multiple aspect ratio selections of 4x3 or 16x9. Has digital noise reduction, with on-off selectability. The CSC-550 has computer graphics/HDTV (15-Pin HD) pass-thru, flexible control options including front panel buttons, and IR Remote (with on-screen menus). Unit is desktop size and has a 7 year warranty.
