Triple Lens Magnifier Lamp

Your review: I purchased this lamp to assist me in my hobby for which I need magnification and light. Of all the lamps I looked at this lamp fills the bill. I am thoroughly happy with this purchase

Pros: bright light, great magnification with all 3 lens

Cons: probably not having some type of cover over the lens to keep dust out

Excellent Product

Your review: I will absolutely recommend this to friends and colleagues and would buy another if I had to put another workstation together.

Pros: This lamp/magnifier is great - I use it on my DYI/Electronics station, and it gets a ton of use. I did not have any trouble with tension -- tightening the tension knobs was all that was required. The lamp swings all directions on my desk, and stays in position when I need it do.

Cons: It wobbled at first, but only because I didn't have it resting properly in the base (with the plastic spacing ring snug). After that, no problems. Maybe a longer power cord ... but I keep a power strip on the desk anyway.

Excellent for Sewing/Jewelry Making

Your review: I recemtly purchased a Triple Lens Magnifying Lamp. I haven't been able to sew nor make jewelry for some time due to "low vision". The purchase of this lamp made all the difference. I would certainly recommend this item for those with vision problems.

Design issues are significant

Pros: THE OPTICS SEEM TO BE HIGH QUALITY

Cons: THE SPRINGS ON THE ARTICULATING ARM ARE NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO FULLY SUPPORT THE WEIGHT OF THE OPTICS AND THE LAMP. ALSO, THE KNOBS USED TO TIGHTEN THE ARM ARE NOT ABLE TO HOLD THE OPTICS AND LAMP IN ONE PLACE. THIS RESULTS IN NOT BEING ABLE TO POSITION THE LAMP IN ONE PLACE WITH THE EXPECTATION IT WILL REMAIN IN THE SAME SPOT. I ORDERED 15 OF THESE, AND ALL OF THEM HAVE THIS PROBLEM, SO THEY ARE OF NO USE TO ME

Fantastic product

Your review: I bought the magnifier light for workbench projects after buying a Glock 26 needing minor upgrades for my specs. Couldn't ask for a better product. Functions as expected & then some. I highly recommend this product.

Answer This Question

Why is this item 37 dollars less than the 8 diopter lamp when just the magnifying glass differs? Or, is the bulb housing plastic? also the 8 diopter one does not have a cover but the handle is silver colored instead of black ... what can you tell me about this 37 dollar price difference?
