The Ventamatic VX1000SOLDOMBLK is a black Solar Powered Roof Mount Power Attic Ventilator with the Solar Panel mounted to the top of the dome. The 18 volt, thermally protected DC motor and 14-inch high efficiency aluminum fan blades provide up to 1000 CFM (sufficient for a 1500 sq ft attic). This unit has a heavy-duty galvanized steel dome with a black powder-coat finish, and an expanded steel mesh grille to protect from birds and rodents. One 12.6 watt Solar Panel and roof-mounting brackets are included. The high-impact, tempered solar cell casings resist hail, flying debris and impacting winds, and the silicone crystals are encased in an anodized aluminum frame. The 25-ft power cord has easy connect clips, and additional solar panels may be linked to increase the CFMs of your fan. The Ventilator is covered by a 5-year limited warranty, and the Solar Panel is covered by a 10-year limited warranty. This is an exhaust fan which requires a minimum of 400 sq. in. net free air intake vent area, in order to operate safely and efficiently.
