SPITZLIFT™ PORTABLE FOLDING PICKUP TRUCK & VAN JIB CRANE
Lightweight, Portable Folding Crane is ideal for loading Flatbed Trucks, Panel Vans and SUV's.
Lightweight aluminum jib crane offers a 4' L boom with adjustable height-reach and 15' L heavy duty lifting strap to allow large objects to be loaded with ease. Crane folds to a compact 48" L x 7" W x 11" H for easy storage. Structural aluminum construction offers light weight and corrosion resistance. Hoist features a load control disc brake that allows one person to control the load. Portable crane pivots 360° in its sturdy holster base, is totally self-contained and is shipped assembled. The Spitzlift™ Crane is OSHA and ANSI compliant, certified by a Federal Inspector, and full range live load static tested.
Manual Hoist Cranes use hand crank operation with 4.4:1 ratio and is easily attached to the vehicle using the unique 2" hitch receiver mount or the 6" x 6" mount plate, which can be bolted or welded on to virtually anyplace with structural integrity. Crane is offset 36-1/2" to clear the tailgate.
Note: Boom Height is from bottom of hook to bottom of mast tube. Boom Reach is from center of mast to hook.

| The Crane works as advertised. A short person may have to stretch to operate the winch handle while controlling the swing of the load. Attention must be given to properly orienting the section of the mount with the two circular supports for the crane's pole so that the tailgate of the truck may be lowered. If not, it is operator error, not a design or manufacturing fault. An excellent piece of equipment for it's purpose and compact when in storage configuration. |

| Works well, but product information is deceptive |
| The crane works great, but the product information is deceptive. It said the crane weighs 33 lbs and folds up to fit in a 4' carry case. Well, that is only the moving parts of the crane itself. The mounting hardware weighs that much again and does not fit in a case, so the total weight as pictured and demonstrated is > 70 lbs. I am keeping the crane, but not as excited about it as I was when I ordered it. |
