American Forge & Foundry Bench Grinder Stand, 32"H - 31501 This 12" x 10" extra large bench grinder stand with a steel table top reduces vibration and breakage compared to typical cast tops. The stand comes with predrilled slots allowing for mounting most bench grinders 5"-10" and heavy duty cast iron base predrilled for securing. Features include a 32" table height and extra large 12" x 10" steel table top.
For those more demanding circular cutting and positioning operations, Palmgren's heavy duty series of rotary indexing tables are the right choice. These tables permit rapid positioning of work under the machine spindle or for inspection and layout applications. The table top, vertical bases, and horizontal bases are ground for overall squareness.
For rapid indexing in both vertical and horizontal positions using 5-C collets. 2-1/4" - 8 threaded spindle nose for use with lathe chucks. Instant opening and closing of collets is accomplished by a lever having a leverage ratio of 100 to 1. Rapid rotation of spindle nose is accomplished through a ratchet device on the front of the spindle. Supplied with a 24 hole index plate for 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12 and 24 divisions or 15 degree spacing. Index plate is supplied with screws for masking holes not in use.
Due to its high holding force and watertight top plate, the MPI double ceramic round chuck is an indispensable tool during workpiece turning and circular grinding. The relatively small pole pitch and a low magnetic field make it suitable for thinner workpieces from 0.3" or from 0.5" depending on the chuck diameter or pole pitch. The top plate is magnetic with each pole individually magnetized by powerful ceramic permanent magnets, so electrical controls and collector rings are not required. Frequent magnet polarity changes result in low magnet field to prevent magnetization of tool bits. ...
