| General Purpose, Capacitor Start-Inductor Run Motor: 3HP, 1740 RPM, Totally-Enclosed Fan-Cooled (TEFC) Enclosure, 184 Frame, Rigid Mount, 115/208-230V, 1PH, 60HZ, Name Plate Amps 33.6/16.8, Continuous duty, 1.0 Service Factor, No thermal protection, Efficiency: 77, Efficiency Type: Standard, Ambient 40 C, Selective CCW Rotation, Shaft Length 2-1/4", Shaft Diameter 1 1/8". Totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) enclosure has no vent openings, and is tightly enclosed to prevent the free exchange of air, but is not airtight. An external fan is an integral part of the motor and provides cooling by blowing air around the outside frame of the motor. Suitable for use where exposed to dirt or dampness, but NOT very moist or hazardous (explosive) locations.
Rigid base allows motor to be rigidly mounted on equipment.
