| General Purpose, Capacitor Start-Inductor Run Motor: 1HP, 3450 RPM, Drip-Proof (DP) Enclosure, 56 Frame, C Face Mount, 115/208-230V, 1PH, 60HZ, Name Plate Amps 12/6.2-6, Continuous duty, 1.25 Service Factor, No thermal protection, Efficiency: 70, Efficiency Type: Standard, Ambient 40 C, Selective CCW Rotation, Shaft Length 1-7/8", Shaft Diameter 5/8". Drip proof (DP)enclosure has vents in end shield and/or frame to prevent drops of liquid from falling into motor within a 15 degree angle from vertical. Designed for use in areas that are reasonably dry, clean, and well ventilated (usually indoors). If installed outdoors, it is recommended that the motor be protected with a cover that does not restrict the flow of air to the motor.
NEMA C face mount has machined face with a pilot on the shaft end which allows direct mounting with a pump or other direct coupled equipment. Bolts pass through mounted part to threaded hole in the motor face.
