The most significant feature of infrared heating is that it heats objects directly by light without using air as a mediator. Infrared radiation induces superficial molecules of objects with which they contact and thus, they increase their heat. There is no contact between heat source and object. Compared to other systems used, it is more cost-effective and efficient in terms of installation and operating costs, heating time of relevent space, ceiling height of relevant space and heat loss.
