Sturdy design, nice finish etc
Your review: We purchased these to mate with the mobile laptop workstation (which themselves were very good)
Pros: Sturdy design, nice finish etc
Cons: Connection hardware is self-tap screws !!, with sharp points ticking out ! should be nut & bolt at least or an adjustable clamp
Your review: This is the only mouse tray has a metal base. Swivel base makes it convenient to position the tray to user's liking. The tray does not flex even if user's hand rests on it. Easy assembly, excellent customer service to my query. Product was well packaged and arrived promptly. Will definitely recommend this product and Global.
Pros: Metal base, comfortable 8" square tray; easy assembly. The item delivered first was very tight at the swivel base and when I notified customer service of this they immediately sent a replacement that worked well.
Sturdy and compact - works with any tray
Your review: This is sturdy and compact - right amount of resistance to not slide, but still position can be changed. Easy to install with 4 screws and power screwdriver. Best thing is that it is not associated with some particular keyboard tray. You can use this with anything. I am using it to "add" a trackball to a setup that already has a mouse, thereby not forcing other family members to use my trackball.
STRONG - Built to last
Your review: I'm a buyer and am prone to seeking out the cheapest, longest lasting products (unless it's for me...do you sell Ferraris too Global?). This mouse tray looked strong and it IS strong. I think it's a little small for what it's used for as I don't believe in keyboard trays either due to potential issues with carpal tunnel, but the designers had their thinking caps on for this one. You won't be able to draft huge layouts with a surface this small, but it will allow you do do standard office duties. Again, needs wrist support, but sometimes out minimal space doesn't afford that.
Excellent product and excellent service!
Your review: This mouse tray is very sturdy, and installed very easily with 4 screws. I had to install 2 on one side first, and then move the tray to install the other 2. The only issue I had was that I somehow managed to make it tilt vertically. I asked customer support about it, and they sent a replacement. The one I received must have been defective. (It happens, no big deal). Overall I am very pleased with my purchase, and with Global's customer support. Thanks much!
Best I've seen
Your review: I had one of those trays that attached to the arm of my chair. I kept the chair longer than I should have just to keep the mouse tray but the chair was killing my back and I had to get rid of it. Besides, I'd busted part of the piece that held the tray to the chair from my weight leaning on it.
I don't see how anyone could bust this one and it attached to my keyboard tray easily. I really like the functionality and don't expect I'll need another one ever.
Just what I needed
Your review: Unfortunately, the computer desk I bought (from somewhere else) has a misaligned keyboard shelf, or it's for a left-handed person. When I sat normally at the keyboard, with my mouse to the right it, my legs were way off to the left, not under the desk. Installing this mouse pad allows me to sit normally at the keyboard. It's well-constructed and was easy to install.
Your review: This is a great product. It's the only metal tray I've been able to find -- so it's very strong. I tried a plastic one from my local office supply store, and I was afraid to rest my wrist on it & ended up returning it. The swivel was very stiff at first, but after just a little WD-40, it moves freely yet stays put. Good job Global!
Your review: I've been looking for a strong mouse tray for a long time for my keyboard wooden tray. This mouse tray feels strong and is made out of steel, not plastic like most of the products in the market today.
I read a review on Amazon.com were allegedly they had to hit it with a hammer to swivel it and/or use WD-40. I decided to buy it anyway and my personal opinion is that if a product swivels easily before installation, at least in this case, it is going to be too loose for optimal performance by the time you finish the installation. You can use a Groove Joint Plier to move the pivot and measure, looking for possible obstructions from your keyboard tray and/or desk and the perfect place for final installation.
When you finish installing it, you will notice it has enough resistance to swivel only when you want it to. Feels strong, like it is supposed to, and installation was around fifteen minutes or less, and that's because I took my time measuring before installation.
