Commercial Media Air Purifier - 900 CFM - 230V - Black

Promote a healthy environment by reducing the contaminants in the air with this air purifier. This unit features two speeds for cleaning capabilities of 700-900 cubic feet per minute and is ideal for multiple commercial applications. The CFM of all our units were tested with the filters in place for a true reading. This unit will cover 500 sq. ft. with an 8' ceiling for 13 air changes per hour. Square footage can be increased when less air changes per hour are required. For best results, run the unit around-the-clock for constant air movement and filtering. It is important to always have the correct number of units properly placed corresponding to the air changes required per hour to achieve proper air quality. The motor operates at a decibel rate at or lower than the average conversation! The air is first filtered through a washable pre-filter, then through a replaceable MERV 8 rated Media Filter and a disposable odor absorbing Carbon After Filter. The Media Filter is electrostatically charged and engineered for maximum dust holding capability, providing significant higher particulate efficiency than regular poly cotton media filters. The Media Filter is moisture resistant, does not support microbial growth and has an efficiency rating up to 98% of particulate as small as 5 microns. This includes allergy triggers such as pollens, animal dander, cigarette and cooking smoke, dust, fly ash and bacteria. When removal of increased volumes of smoke is required, we highly recommend using an Electrostatic Air Purifier due to the Media Filter clogging prematurely, resulting in unsatisfactory performance of the unit. This unit is supplied with three 4" wire leads for hard wiring to 230 volt service. This unit is 11" in height and mounts flush in two 2 x 2 or one 2 x 4 drop ceiling grid, hanging from the ceiling using chain (or comparable material) with the eyebolts supplied. A maintenance background is required for proper installation. The galvanized hood can be painted to match the unit upon request for drop mount applications. No assembly is required.
