Pipe Joint Compound 1/2 Pint, Thread Sealant
A versatile thread sealant for use on black iron, galvanized steel, copper, brass and aluminum pipe and fittings. Can be used on lines that carry natural gas, air, steam, water, ammonia, brine, diluted acids and alkalis. Pipe Joint Compound will not harden, crack or become brittle. Joints can be disassembled without damage to pipe fittings or threads years after joint was made. Pipe Joint Compound is non-settling and non-separating. It has a creamy smooth consistency. Pipe Joint Compound is easily applied with a natural bristle brush in temperatures as low as -15°F and performs over a temperature range of 0° to +350°. Pressure rated to 250 psi for liquids and 200 psi for air/steam.
