Power Riser for Workbench

Quality product. Very pleased. Easy to install on bench despite not coming with any installation instructions. Attractive and function - highly recommend this workbench addition to anyone needing outlets close to the bench - so much better than wall outlets.

Cost Reduced to be flimsy

Your review: Since my associates bought this product 2 years ago, someone decided to reduce the length of the electric electric rail box which tucks up under the front of the shelf. Now that this does not go all the want to he sides to provide support to the sides, the product if very wobbly and feels flimsy. I was able to fix by adding a block at each end of the electric rail box.

Pros: nice set up.

Cons: You need to go back to the old design so customers do not have to fix your product.

Nice addition

Your review: The workbench power riser is exactly as I expected and fit perfectly. We mounted a LED light to the underside and now have a lit bench. Packing could've been better. Came in torn apart and the lip on the bench had a large dent that we hammered out.

Pros: Sturdy, perfect fit and match to our bench. Extra outlets are handy

Cons: Packing and shipping. The box was ripped apart and the riser was dented.

work bench add-on

Your review: It fit exactly on an old Global work bench. I had no problem assembling it alone

Pros: Good size and height. The electrical outlets are convenient.

Cons: I would rather have electrical outlets mounted vertical on the sides. The cords are sometimes in the way plugged into the face of the riser.

Power Riser

Your review: The product itself is good, however the box it is shipped in does not supply much protection. We had to order a new riser due to damage in shipping on the first one.

excellent

Your review: I think that when the electrical kit was installed from the factory it was an excellent idea. This is a time saver for a company like us that orders in quanity. This cuts cost down on installation a quite a bit.

Answer This Question

We need a surface that can withstand heat from a hot-air rework station. The surface may be exposed to temperatures greater than 300 degrees C. Can this table handle that? If not, can you recommend an alternative?

Answer This Question

Sorry for not clarifying last question enough. I need to know the width between the legs, from side to side.... i.e. left to right. I am guessing it should be close to 56" ?

Answer This Question

What is the width of the space available between the assembled legs of this bench? I have rolling cabinets that need to slide in underneath when not in use.
