Soft light heat waves are more energy efficient than regular heaters, since heat waves heat objects instead of unused space. Heats up to a 12 foot circle and includes a safety tilt switch, 8 foot cord, and weather resistant hardware. CSA certified, with a 1,200 watt heating element (equivalent to approximately 4,095 BTU's). Uses a standard 120V grounded outlet. Simple assembly. second failure
Second unit sent to me by Global also failed, lasted six days, about twelve hours of use. Heating element started turning black and failed shortly thereafter. Global Industrial was very helpful athough heater did not work and failed.

good retailer, iffy product
First one received quit working on second day, was sent new one, excellent customer service by Global. Discovered heating element had broken and as per instructions called manufacturer (blue rhino) which were totally useless and could not offer any help except to suggest to take unit to an "electrician". Second unit works fine however if it fails it will just end up in the garbage. However it works well so far.
