Ultra Ever Dry® Bottom Coating - Quart
Ultra-Ever Dry is a superhydrophobic (water) and oleophobic (hydrocarbons) coating that will completely repel almost any liquid. Ultra-Ever Dry uses proprietary nanotechnology to coat an object and create a barrier of air on its surface. This barrier repels water, oil and other liquids unlike any coating seen before. The other breakthrough associated with Ultra-Ever Dry is the superior coating adherence and abrasion resistance allowing it to be used in all kinds of applications where durability is required. Ideal for use on metals, plastics, wood and fabric. Must be used with top coat (sold separately) in equal parts on the initial application for coating to work properly. Quart can covers 42 square feet.
Can be used on boots and footwear, bricks, stairs, railings, engines, hats, caps and other headwear, tools and equipment, paint equipment, nuts, bolts and other hardware, concrete trucks, clothing/apparel, building supplies, gloves, machinery, cinder blocks, fall protection, cooling coils, outdoor seating, HVAC, boats and marinas, concrete counter tops and more. Ever-Dry color is translucent white and will leave a slight residue. Environmental conditions will affect the duration of the coating and these can vary. The working temperature range for this product is from -30°F to 300°F (-34°C to 149°C) once it has been applied. It is non-conductive. The coating has been found to be safe for use in non food contact areas of food processing plants, and meets FDA and USDA regulations for those types of applications.
Ever-Dry?s longevity in use is susceptible to environmental conditions (UV/abrasion). This coating will generally last 2-8 months in direct sunlight and outdoor conditions before recoating of the top coat would be required. When used in indoor or covered applications outdoors, the Ever-Dry coating should last for a year or more.
