Heat lamps are designed for use in hospitals, clinics, and large practices. Available types are ceramic, fluorescent, and Ruby IR for a variety of warming or tanning applications. Models available include 2-and 3-Head Infra Red Lamp with or w/o timer, Sun Tanning Lamp, Infrared Lamp w/timer and Variable Control, Psoriasis Lamp w/Table Top Stand, Standard Lamp, and Vitamin D/UV-F Fluorescent Lamp.
Most models have hospital grade plugs, control panel with an on/off indicator light, an intensity control and 30 minute timer switch.
Ceramic heating element electromagnetically transmits extremely uniform heat to the patient. Unit changes from coral to gray when energized. No visible light is produced. Fluorescent lamps begin exposure immediately after lamp ignition and have no warm-up period. Ruby IR lamps have 175W ruby colored IR bulbs with a thick protective lens and an optical system that produces an 18" beam pattern. The red color provides a 95% reduction in glare. Equipped with three conductor cord sets, hospital plugs, protective wire guards, air-cooled shades with individual on/off switches.
