Gardner Bender Butt Splices are available in two types: standard and Heat Shrink. The standard model is color-coded by gauge size, has a rating of 600 Volt max. and a temperature rating of 167°F (75°C). The Heat Shrink model is constructed with Heat Shrink insulation, which melts and flows when heated to create a seal. The seal waterproofs and environmentally seals electrical connections Terminals resist salt water, oil, gasoline and other environmental contaminants. Rated at 600 Volts max. Temperature rating of 221°F (105°C).
