We value your business and we know that many customers signed up for the financing and discount benefits associated with the card, so this decision was not taken lightly. Since the vast majority of customers took advantage of the discount, we are pleased to let you know that we will continue to extend the 5% product discount to you.

Business Accounts

For our business accounts, if you have used the Global Industrial Credit card to make a purchase, the ongoing discount will be automatic and will be reflected in your pricing when you buy online. If you have the credit card and have not used it to make a purchase, please email your name, telephone number, and Global Industrial account number to sales@globalindustrial.com, and we will update your account to receive the ongoing discount automatically.

Consumer Accounts

Those customers who have consumer accounts, please email your name, telephone number, and Global Industrial account number to sales@globalidustrial.com and we will provide you with an account-specific coupon code for future purchases.

When will I not be able to use my Global Industrial Credit Card?

The Global Industrial Credit Card will no longer be an accepted payment method on March 26, 2023.

Will I still be able to get the 5% discount I got when I used with the Global Industrial Credit Card?

Yes. As long as you were approved for a Global Industrial Credit Card and it was activated before March 26, 2023 you will continue to receive a 5% discount on products you order before shipping and taxes.

How do I get the 5% discount?

If you have a BUSINESS account with Global Industrial…

And you have purchased at least once using the Global Industrial Credit Card,
- A 5% discount will automatically be applied to your order (before shipping and taxes) after logging into your web account or when you place an order with a Global Industrial associate via phone or chat
And you have NOT purchased at least once using the Global Industrial Credit Card,
- Contact your Global Industrial account manager and tell them you want to receive your 5% discount for being a Global Industrial Credit Card holder in the past
- The Global Industrial associate will confirm that you had an active account and then apply the discount to your order
- The associate will add your account to the pricing contract and you’ll automatically receive the discount on future orders

If you have a CONSUMER account with Global Industrial…

And you have purchased at least once using the Global Industrial Credit Card,
- Apply the coupon code GICC5 during checkout on www.globalindustrial.com or when you place an order with a Global Industrial associate via phone or chat

And you have NOT purchased at least once using the Global Industrial Credit Card,
Contact a Global Industrial associate via chat or at 1-888-978-7759 and tell them you want to receive your 5% discount for being a Global Industrial Credit Card holder in the past
The Global Industrial associate will confirm that you had an active account and then apply the discount to your order
The associate will add your account to the coupon GICC5 and you’ll be able to apply it during checkout on future orders

What if I have a return for an order I placed with my Global Industrial Credit Card after March 26, 2023 when my account closes?

The card will live for another 60-days after termination. Credit will be issued within that time frame.
