Scotch&#174; Rubber Mastic Tape 2228 is a 65-mil thick, premium grade, highly conformable self-fusing rubber electrical insulating and sealing tape. Scotch&#174; Rubber Mastic Tape 2228 consisting of an ethylene propylene rubber (EPR) backing coated with an aggressive, temperature-stable mastic adhesive on a liner. Designed for electrical insulating and moisture sealing, intended for both indoor and weather exposed outdoor applications including resistance to UV exposure. Features:<ul Style="Margin-Top:0Px; Padding-Top: 5Px; Padding-Bottom: 5Px;"><li>Is a UL recognized component for applications up to 130&#176;C (266&#176;F)</li><li>Primary electrical insulation for cable and wire connections and vibration padding for motor leads rated up to 1000 volts</li><li>Thick construction allows quick application build–up and padding over irregular connections</li><li>Applicable over a temperature range of 32 to 100&#176;F (0 to 38&#176;C) without loss of physical properties</li><li>RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant</li></ul>
