I added the drawer after I had the bench. Adding the drawer is more difficult with an installed top. It is doable. I think a drawer liner would be nice also. My installation was made harder because the drawer release on one side didn’t work to remove the drawer when installing. It then became a 2 man job. But once it was done, it’s fine and works as it should. Instructions could be better also. -
