Knife Thread inserts provide strong, machine threads in virtually any wood (not recommended for plywood). This assortment makes it convenient to keep a range of sizes on hand. Installation is as easy as drilling a hole and threading in the insert with a bolt and jam nut or optional drive tool. Sizes include are 6-32 (10), 8-32 (10), 10-32 (10), 1/4-20 (10, 5/16-18 (10), and 3/8-16 (10).

Flush Hex Drive inserts provide a quick and inexpensive solution for putting strong threads in soft wood, like pine, MDF, or plywood. Flush (without head) design allows for installation below the surface. To install, simple drill the appropriately sized hole and thread in place with an Allen wrench or optional drive tool. Ideal for use in furniture, drawer pulls, display cases, or anywhere avoidance of thread stripping is desired.
