I have purchased these cans locally and have liked them alot. They have an optional soft plastic spout that makes it very easy to fill tractor tanks as well a car gas tanks. Because of the was the fuel is dispensed one can see the fuel entering the equipment being filled. This visual look at the fuel flow helps to prevent overflows even into smaller tanks like on lawnmowers. The valving mechanism allows for very precise flow control. This valving has a strong spring mechanism when keeps the valve closed very tightly and prevents any vapor loss. It also will stay shut in the event of a tip over. I now own four of these tanks. One note. The picture show a metal handle which is what my old one had. The new ones have yellow plastic handles. Don't know how well they will hold up. I have a one gallon tank which my wife prefers as it is less bulky. 5 gallons of gas weighs about 30 lbs. I would recommend these tanks. -

Automatic sealing feature on spout is a great safety feature as well as protecting the contents from being compromised with the possibility of the introduction of other fluids such as rain. Also minimizes the escape of vapors from within. -
