Only replacement option

Your review: Thank goodness Intermatic offers this replacement of its old ET100C which pooped out on me after 9 years of service. The old 100C case is not mechanically replaceable, so the ability to switch out the guts and door is wonderful. My only concern is having to remember to switch out the batteries every few years, and how will the next home owner know it needs to be done.

Replacement unit

Your review: Existing unit broke because old batteries corroded the circuit board. This required replacing entire unit instead of the battery holder/circuit board assembly. Very expensive for simple design problem. Otherwise new unit installed and works fine.
