The five shelves have a 1500-pound payload capacity per shelf with wood laminate decking that provide a strong, smooth and flat surface for items of all sizes. Compared to standard wood particle board, laminate decking is easy to clean & offers improved resistance to chips, scratches, and stains. Additionally, the laminate provides a barrier against water to prevent swelling, warping, and other damage from moisture exposure.
The whole unit is easy to set-up with tool-free snap-in components that don't require nuts, bolts, or clips. It is made with sturdy roll-formed steel framing for maximum support and double rivet button studs that lock the perimeter beams into the corner posts to form a structurally-secure joint that eliminates back & side sway.
