Works great. I purchased this specifically so my 4th graders could safely cut all their own ca. mission project parts. Potential burns seem better than lacerations with razor cutters! I have already seen their imaginations soar with other possibilities. -

This wire cutter takes a few minutes to assemble carefully, and don't tighten down the wire holding nut to tight as it will continuously shear the wire. it doesn't take much to hold the wire the act of pushing foam against it causes no strain whatsoever. Aside from that, it is a GREAT tool for a GREAT price. If you need one - buy it here. It works fantastically and seems quite durable (I bought it for student use and they didn't break the wire even once).
