Locking Key cabinets

Your review: This is a very good product. sturdy, has ample room for keys and easy to install.

Pros: Locking mechanism works well. Will have to remember to change batteries 1 or 2 times a year.

Great secure key storage

Your review: Very heavy duty. Easy to install batteries and set combination. Steel is heavy gauge. Looks great so can be mounted any where. I chose the inside of my unlocked utility closet door. I would strongly recommend. Great product value for the price.

Meets Regulations

Your review: The product met all expectations and was easy to put into operation, save the one problem listed below.

Pros: The ability to change the combination at will is a very valuable and important feature of the product.

Cons: The picture indications for installation of the batteries were reversed, so that the picture for the positive end of the battery pointed actually to the negative portion of the battery clip and vice versa. However, this error was easily overcome.

Not to impressed...

Your review: The quality of the box it self is pretty decent, it has a good solid body, and it actually looks good. Unfortunately the electronic side of it, is very cheap, the inside battery pack is wrongfully labeled with the battery position install upside down. Also the key access bypass cover, is so tight that you can not remove the cover without making some damage to the edges of the plastic cover, the after result is reveling the hide away key bypass.

Pros: Looks Good

Cons: Wont last.

Finally, a truly secure key box.

Your review: I work for a property management company with many buildings and offices with key boxes. Being located in a very urban area, we typically experience at least one break in at one of our properties a year. Now anyone who has experienced a break in would know, typical key boxes might give the perception of security, but they can be fairly easily pried open with a simple screwdriver. And the bigger the key box, the easier it is to pry back a corner and force the mailbox style lock open. But not with this sucker. It latches with two safe style bolts. There's no jimmy-rigging this box open. Securely mounted to a solid stud, and this key box isn't give up its cargo anytime soon. The punch code lock is also very convenient for multiple staff access. No more worrying about losing the key or getting the lock box key back from exiting employees. Firing a problem employee who claims he "lost" the key? No problem here, just change the code and your buildings are still secure.

Pros: Tough and break-in secure. Easily changeable code pad.

Cons: Only 48 key hooks. There could easily be another row of 8 keys on the door under the locking mechanism (we added some self sticking hooks).

Best Product for the Money

Works like a charm

Your review: I loved the idea of having a Key Safe Cabinet that didn't require a key . . . to get to the keys. Global carried this model for a reasonable price. It's a good brand and constructed well.

New Batteries?

Your review: Approximately a week after installing the keybox, it would not open and just beeped. Found that one of the batteries sent with the unit was leaking. Replaced all batteries which fixed the problem.

Key Lock Box

Your review: we have found this product to exceed our expectations. We were so happy with it, we ordered another. The only criticismm I would have is that the key labeling systsem is very difficult to manage (getting the plastic off and back in for identification). I would suggest ordering a higher quality key fob.

initially great - then shitty!

Your review: buy other item elsewhere

Pros: solid, easy to install, perfect (AT FIRST)

Cons: locks become sticky and actually will not lock (bought 2 and both do this) - manufacture give the standard "its out of warranty too bad" line and global pretty much says "too bad". these are about 18 months old - light usage in dry environment. buy other product from a seller willing to assist customers.

Electronic Lock Box

Your review: Am very happy with this key lock box. Easy to set up and operate. It took a little figuring out how to get the ID tag out of the key fob (no instructions for that). Otherwise, this is a great product.

Key safe

Your review: This is a well made and easy to use key safe. Mine came in with a small paint chip on the frame though the packaging was in tact. As it is bolted inside a closet the paint chip is of no concern.
