Good storage for the money, but not heavy duty!

Your review: If you need a very heavy duty cabinet, stop reading and look for a different cabinet. This one is not for you!!I had a tight budget to try and find some large metal storage cabinets. We've had bad luck in the past finding a good affordable cabinet, that was of decent quality. I skeptically bought just two preassembled cabinets. They came in without damage, and were of good quality for my purposes. We are using them to hold large light weight samples. We have been using them for over a year now, with no damage or failures yet. These are not heavy duty, but have served well mounted firmly on a level concrete floor, and accessed only a few times a week, with no failures. If I had more room, I would buy more!

Pros: doors open and close well, when mounted on a flat level surface locks work well adjustable shelves work well

Cons: you must take time to deliberately close the doors to make sure they line up and are not damaged during closing, as they are flexible.

Would not recommend for the price.

Your review: Walls and shelving are alright, but doors will not close without putting a hand at the top of the door pushing-in while also putting a foot at the bottom of the door while also pushing-in so that the pins will go into their slots. Mine were ordered pre-assembled.

Pros: The cabinet is made of metal.

Cons: The doors will not properly line up. Might as well not even have doors on this unit. Overpriced for the product that you will receive.

Exactly What I Was Looking For

Well built cabinet

Would not reccomend this cabinet

Your review: In the description they say that the cabinet can be used for "heavy warehouse use", I disagree. This cabinet is basically a large office supply cabinet. The back of the cabinet is two separate pieces of metal. When the cabinet was fully assembled I could see a small space between these two pieces where a small amount of light came through. The locking mechanism is really a joke. What makes it worse was the quote "maximum security" in the description. Honestly I was afraid that I would bend the cabinet as I was moving it. If someone really wanted to break into the cabinet, they could do it pretty easily. Once again, this cabinet is an office supply cabinet at best, nothing more.*** Global Comment: Thanks for the comments. We will recommend a heavy duty 12 or 14 guage all-welded cabinets for this application. ***

Heavy Duty Storage Cabinet

Your review: Exactly what we were looking for. The cabinet we had been using for our supplies had bent shelves and the door hinges were busted. This cabinet has extremely heavy duty shelves and hinges. It is perfect for our heavy supplies.
